Horiba
JY Glow Discharge OES ‘Profiler’ with a new
RF ‘PULSE’ source enabling depth profiling of more
sensitive materials and multilayer applications. The Pulse source
has better temperature control of the sputter crater therefore
providing a better plasma for emission analysis. A monochromator
option is also available to add to the polychromator to produce
a combination instrument capable of analyzing any element in both
bulk analysis and depth profile mode.
Buck
411 Scientific Arsenic Hydride Analyzer based
up the 211 AA platform and designed to provide 0.5ppt detection
limits , simple to operate with low cost argon purge gas.
Ocean
Optics new LIBS (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy)
ELITE uses a New Wave 200mj YAG laser, with a variable laser
spot size 10um-1200um, and a complete imaging, and mapping program
for manipulating the samples up to 4inches in dia. The system
uses Ocean Optics LIBS2000 spectrometer package for analysis
of elemental emission lines in the laser plasma down to low
ppm levels of any material. The current system uses a reference
library of emission lines for semi-quantitative analysis, however
software has been developed to input known material specifications
to enable quantification analysis.
